Art has been a lifelong thread my Lynn’s life, beginning with a love of drawing at an early age and deepening through years of life study, figure drawing, and painting. While raising my family and working as an R.N., I continued to nurture my creative life through drawing and ballet. In time, painting emerged as a natural form of my creative expression.
My work has been shaped by years of studying the figure, painting from life, and working en plein air. These experiences have taught met o look closely—to notice the fleeting changes in light, color, gesture, and expression.
I am drawn to the beauty and mystery found in a single moment. In my figurative and portrait paintings, I use vibrant color not simply to describe the atmosphere of what I see, but to convey the feeling and spirit of that moment. Drawing remains at the heart of her work, grounding the color and allowing each painting to retain a sense of life, movement, and discovery.
